The Robot & Science Festival returns for its third edition in May 2025 in Odense. After successful events in 2023 and 2024 with over 10,000 visitors and 1,000 students in workshops, the festival is set to be even bigger. It’s where technology, robots, and science meet art and creativity, offering hands-on experiences with the latest innovations.
Held at Munke Mose, the festival will feature musical performances, exhibitions, international street theatre, and a creative maker tent for children and young people. New initiatives are also in the works for 2025.
Explore robotics, AI, and automation through workshops, demos, and talks, alongside entertaining shows and live music. Discover why Odense is known as the ‘robot capital’ and meet companies from the Odense Robotics cluster.
The festival is free to attend and offers a unique opportunity to experience Odense’s robotics culture and innovation. Join us in May for an exciting celebration of technology and creativity!

ODENSE’S UNIQUE ROBOTICS ENVIRONMENT
Over the past 15 years, Odense has established itself as one of Europe’s leading robotics hubs, where small and large, Danish and international companies within robotics and automation have set up operations. A unique ecosystem has been created in the city. Here, the brightest talents have the opportunity to educate themselves and the best researchers can be close to both small startups and large international companies. Together, they develop the robotics and automation solutions of the future.
In Odense, there are more than 160 robotics companies, with over 3,600 employees engaged in the industry in city alone. This is quite impressive considering Odense’s size and population.
Odense is also home to Denmark’s largest robot cluster – Odense Robotics. This is evident in the city’s unique ecosystem around robotics and automation.
